The 2020 Naperville Senior Amateur Championship will be an 18-hole event, with each flight playing 18-holes at one course. Flights are determined by age (Seniors 55-69, Legends 70+). Each flight will declare a low gross and low net Champion. The overall low gross score of the Senior flight will be declared the Naperville Senior Amateur Champion. Any amateur golfer 55 years of age or older with an official USGA handicap is eligible.
The entry fee is $55 per person, which includes greens fee, range balls, prizes and lunch. Trophies will be awarded to the winners. Participants wishing to ride will be required to pay $15 cart fee before their round.

18 hole Medal Play: Seniors (Ages 55-69) will play Wednesday, August 19 at Springbrook. Legends (Ages 70 & older) will play Thursday, August 20 at Naperbrook. Each flight will declare a low gross and low net Champion. The overall low gross score of the Senior flight will be declared the Naperville Senior Amateur Champion. Players between the ages of 55-59 will play the blue tees and players 60 and above will play the white tees. Handicaps will be calculated from the blue or white tees for men or green tees for women at both golf courses based on age.
Any amateur golfer 55 years of age or older with an official USGA handicap. If no official USGA handicap is established there will be a requirement to join Springbrook’s or Naperbrook’s handicap club and provide a list of your latest scores so that one can be established. The rules committee reserves the right to adjust handicaps. Effective Handicap Date: August 13, 2020.
Register for this tournament online, by mail, fax, or in person at Springbrook Golf Course or Naperbrook Golf Course by Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Cost is $55.00 per person; entry fee must be paid in full at time of registration. Each flight will be limited to the first 60 applications. Fee includes: greens fees, range balls and lunch. Optional riding cart will be an additional fee. Players canceling up to 5 days in advance of scheduled tournament date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 4 days or less in advance of the tournament will be charged a 10% administrative fee. Trophies will be awarded to the winners.
Starting times will be available on Monday, August 17, 2020. Starting times will begin at 7:30 AM on both days. Tee time requests will be considered on a first-entered basis
Keep Pace Policy:
Our courses administer a Keep Pace Policy designed to allow golfers to complete 18 holes in 4:28 or less or 9 holes in 2:10 with 8 minutes at the turn. Any group that is more than 9 minutes behind the Keep Pace Policy timeframe for play will be contacted by a Player’s Assistant who will help the group regain its position. Otherwise, the group will be asked to discontinue play and a prorated refund will be given.
