The 18-hole Prep league is designed for the competitive junior golfer preparing for the high school golf season or those who simply enjoy playing 18-holes. Receive a season-long performance summary with top performers being recognized if scorecards are submitted regularly. Receive range balls and a golf rules book in addition to a weekly lunch.

On-Course Instruction and Play

Parent/Junior Clinics (ages 5 and up w/parent)
Junior Developmental League (ages 11-15)

Parents and children can begin a lifetime of golfing memories! These family-oriented clinics instruct on the full swing, pitching, chipping and putting. Each lesson includes an hour of instruction and ninety minutes of golf course play. There will be limited on-course supervision and instruction. The instructor will get the groups assigned to begin play and then will step aside in order to allow the interaction between parent and child to occur without interruption. Each participant receives a four-token range punch card – a $28 value.

The Junior Developmental League is designed for young people with some golf experience who are ready to start playing on the course. This is a great, relaxed setting for junior golfers to learn the game and have fun with other junior players. Each class is three hours with the first hour focusing on instruction and the next two hours focusing on course play. The goal is to take what was learned on the range and apply it to the golf course. Each group is accompanied by an instructor who provides support to the junior golfers around the golf course and helps them with etiquette, pace of play and course management. Receive a four-token range punch card – a $28 value, a junior golfer tee gift, and lunch before playing each week.

For the Juniors

PGA Junior League

PGA Junior League Golf is designed to better socialize the game for boys and girls, ages 9-13. This fun format features team vs. team competitions in structured leagues that provide a popular, less stressful scramble format as opposed to stroke-play competition. This is a great way to get kids involved in the game!

Each participant receives a numbered jersey, golf balls, bag tags, approximately seven, 90 minute practice sessions, at least five 9-hole matches against other teams in the area and professional instruction and coaching by qualified PGA Golf Professionals. Practices begin in mid to late May and matches take place in the evenings beginning in early June.

Both Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses will host several PGA Junior League Golf teams in 2021. Go to www.pgajlg.com for more information on the PGA Junior League.
