Take part in this year’s Senior Fall Scramble – an enjoyable 18-hole format that has the best shot from each four-person team selected as the recorded shot. Any amateur golfer 55 years of age or older with an official USGA handicap is eligible to play. The entry fee is $55 per person, which includes greens fee, cart fee, range balls, prizes and lunch. Four Person Scramble: All men’s handicaps are calculated from the white tees; all women’s handicaps are calculated from the green tees at Naperbrook Golf Course. Only two membersof the team may have a handicap of 10 or lower and the team total handicap must be 55 or greater. The team handicap total will determine the amount of strokes that the team will be receiving.
Any amateur golfer 55 years of age or older with an official USGA handicap is eligible. If no official USGA handicap is established there will be a requirement to join Springbrook’s or Naperbrook’s handicap club and provide a list of your latest scores so that a handicap can be established. The rules committee reserves the right to adjust handicaps. Effective Handicap Date: August 15, 2018
Register for this tournament online (green button above), by mail, fax, or in person at Springbrook Golf Course or Naperbrook Golf Course by Thursday, August 30, 2018. Cost is $220.00 per team ($55.00 per person); entry fee must be paid in full at time of registration. Fee includes: greens fees, cart fee, range balls, prizes and lunch. Teams canceling up to 5 days in advance of scheduled tournament date will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 4 days or less in advance of the tournament will be charged a 10% administrative fee. Trophies will be awarded to the winners.
Starting times will be available on Monday, September 3, 2018. Starting times will begin at 8:00am off of the first tee. Tee time requests will be considered on a first-entered basis.
Keep Pace Policy:
Our courses administer a Keep Pace Policy designed to allow golfers to complete 18 holes in 4:28 or less or 9 holes in 2:10 with 8 minutes at the turn. Any group that is more than 9 minutes behind the Keep Pace Policy timeframe for play will be contacted by a Player’s Assistant who will help the group regain its position. Otherwise, the group will be asked to discontinue play and a prorated refund will be given.
Player of the Year Points:
By continuing to participate in tournaments offered by the Naperville Park District you can improve your chances at becoming the Player of the Year. Player of the Year points are earned by tournament performance, tournament enrollment, and handicap system enrollment. Both Regular and Senior Player of the Year awards will be distributed.
