About this Tournament and Prizes:
Everyone is eligible to play in this festive, holiday golf event that tends to wrap-up the golf season. This fun, 9-hole scramble format has 5-person teams playing each course in a “cross country” set up. All participants receive a turkey. As part of the tradition of the Turkey Shoot, players that don’t wish to receive a turkey can donate the value of the turkey to a local charitable organization.
The Naperville Park District has selected Operation Support Our Troops – a Naperville-based organization – to be the beneficiary of donations from the 2020 Turkey Shoot events at Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses. Participants may elect to donate the monetary equivalent of their prize turkey that will be forwarded on to this cause that supports “the morale and well-being of American forces by providing comfort, resources and education to them and their families.” If you are planning to donate your turkey, please inform staff at registration or check the box to donate your turkey on the registration form. The price of your turkey will be included in our cash donation to Operation Support Our Troops.
Go to Operation Support Our Troops for more information.
9 holes, fivesomes only – and lots of fun! The existing 18-hole golf course will be converted into a 9-hole course. The hole routings will be modified to create a unique and challenging 9-hole layout.
Open to anyone willing to test their skills and brave the cold.
