SENIOR LEAGUE

Beginning Friday, May 2 this season, Springbrook Golf Course kicks off its Senior League on Friday mornings for men and women 55 years of age or older. Tee times begin at 6:30 a.m. Participants may register as a single, twosome, threesome or foursome by registering one week in advance. Permanent tee times have been established for regular participants.  All events are handicapped and the net score determines the winners. Participants must have a Brooks Advantage Card and an official USGA handicap to be eligible. The cost for a senior Advantage card, age 60 or older, is $25 for Naperville residents or $35 for non-residents, and for adults ages 59 and under, is $40 for Naperville residents or $50 for non-residents. The cost for a Chicago District Golf Association handicap membership is $50.

The entry fee is $36 to walk and $53 to ride. The entry fee also includes $2 toward closest to the pins on all par 3s and a $5 individual net skins game.  The skins game is divided into two flights. Participants with a handicap of 0-14 compete in the Birdie flight; those with handicaps from 15-50 compete in the Par flight. The maximum handicap for all players is 50. There also is an optional individual low net game or individual low gross game for $5 each.  The low net game will be divided into one, two or three flights depending on participation. Men can play from the white, white/green combo or green tees and women can play from the white/green combo or green tees. Tee options for men are available based on age. White tees (55-69), white/green combo (70-74) and green (75 & older). Handicaps will be converted from the appropriate tees. The professional staff reserves the right to adjust handicaps.
