Beginning the second Friday in June this season, Springbrook Golf Course kicks off its Senior League on Friday mornings for men and women 55 years of age or older. Tee times begin at 7:00 a.m. Participants may register as a single, twosome, threesome or foursome by registering one week in advance. Permanent tee times have been established for regular participants. All events are handicapped and the net score determines the winners. Participants must have a Brooks Advantage Card and an official USGA handicap to be eligible. The cost for a senior Advantage card, age 60 or older, is $20 for Naperville residents or $30 for non-residents, and for adults ages 59 and under, is $30 for Naperville residents or $40 for non-residents. The cost for a Chicago District Golf Association handicap membership is $50.
The entry fee is $34 to walk and $451 to ride. The entry fee also includes $2 toward closest to the pins on all par 3s and a $5 individual net skins game. The skins game is divided into two flights. Participants with a handicap of 0-14 compete in the Birdie flight; those with handicaps from 15-36 compete in the Par flight. The maximum handicap for all players is 36. There also is an optional individual low net game or individual low gross game for $5 each. The low net game is divided into one, two or three flights depending on participation. The low gross game is only one flight. Men play from the white tees and women play from the green tees.
Handicaps are converted from the white or green tees at Springbrook. The professional staff reserves the right to adjust handicaps.

For the Juniors
PGA Junior League
PGA Junior League Golf is designed to better socialize the game for boys and girls, ages 9-13. This fun format features team vs. team competitions in structured leagues that provide a popular, less stressful scramble format as opposed to stroke-play competition. This is a great way to get kids involved in the game!
Each participant receives a numbered jersey, golf balls, bag tags, approximately seven, 90 minute practice sessions, at least five 9-hole matches against other teams in the area and professional instruction and coaching by qualified PGA Golf Professionals. Practices begin in mid to late May and matches take place in the evenings beginning in early June.
Both Springbrook and Naperbrook Golf Courses will host several PGA Junior League Golf teams in 2023. Go to www.pgajlg.com for more information on the PGA Junior League.
