Turkey Shoot at Springbrook & Naperbrook Golf Courses

Turkey Shoot lottery is at 9:00 am Saturday, November 15 at Naperbrook Golf Course.  Registration begins at 8:00 am.

ABOUT THIS TOURNAMENT AND PRIZES:
Everyone is eligible to play in this festive, holiday golf event that tends to wrap-up the golf season. This fun, 9-hole scramble format has 5-person teams playing in a “cross country” set up.  All groups will need to be fivesomes and full payment for the entire group is due at registration. Entry fee is $45 per player, $225 per fivesome. Entry fee includes 9-hole cross country scramble, lunch and a prize turkey.  Golf carts will be available, only if weather and course conditions allow use of carts. A maximum of 3 carts per group will be allowed, fees will be $13 per person.

All participants receive a turkey, and as part of the tradition of the Turkey Shoot, players that don’t wish to receive a turkey can donate the value of the turkey to a local charitable organization.  The Naperville Park District has selected Operation Support Our Troops – a Naperville-based organization – to be the beneficiary of donations from the 2025 Turkey Shoot events. Participants may elect to donate the monetary equivalent of their prize turkey that will be forwarded on to this cause that supports “the morale and well-being of American forces by providing comfort, resources and education to them and their families.”  If you are planning to donate your turkey, please inform staff at registration or check the box to donate your turkey on the registration form.  The price of your turkey will be included in our cash donation to Operation Support Our Troops Go to Operation Support Our Troops for more information.

FORMAT:
9 holes, fivesomes only – and lots of fun! The existing 18-hole golf course will be converted into a 9-hole course. The hole routings will be modified to create a unique and challenging 9-hole layout.  Lunch served after the round.

ELIGIBILITY:
Open to anyone willing to test their skills and brave the cold.

REGISTRATION:
Lottery for both events is on Saturday, November 15 at 9:00 am at Naperbrook Golf Course
Register for the lottery in the golf shop at Naperbrook Golf Course only beginning at 8:00 am. Registration will not be available online, at Springbrook or by phone.  Each group of 5 players interested can have one representative register beginning at 8:00 am on Saturday, November 15.  Groups registered will be added to the lottery, and a drawing will take place beginning at 9:00 am.  The first 36 groups pulled in the lottery will be able to register for either the November 22 Turkey Shoot at Naperbrook or the November 23 Turkey Shoot at Springbrook.  Full payment of $225 will be required after the lottery.  An additional 6 groups will be pulled from the lottery to be added to a waitlist in the event a group drops out of the Turkey Shoot.

WITHDRAWALS:
The Turkey Shoot is often played in difficult weather conditions – rain, cold, even snow.  Participants should be prepared to walk if weather restricts golf carts.  Golf carts will be available, maximum of 3 carts per group, only if weather permits. Teams withdrawing on or prior to November 20 will receive a full refund.  Teams withdrawing after November 20, regardless of weather or cart availability, will receive club credit, minus a 25% service fee.
