Don’t miss the Naperville Men’s Amateur Championship – a 36-hole event, with 18-holes played at Springbrook and Naperbrook. Flights are determined by handicap and winners from each flight are recognized. Championship, A, B, C, and D flights will be scored as gross and E flight will be scored as net. The lowest gross score in the championship flight will be declared the Naperville Men’s Amateur Champion. Any amateur golfer 18 years of age or older with an official USGA handicap is eligible to play. Entry fee is $150 per person, which includes greens fee, range balls, prizes and lunch. Trophies will be awarded to the winners of each flight.
Format:
36 hole Medal Play: Championship flight will play from the gold tees and all other flights will play from the blue tees. Championship, A, B, C, and D flights will be scored as gross and E flight will be scored as net. Handicap ranges for the flights are as follows:

A (5-7)
B (8-10)
C (11-13)
D (14-16)
E (17+).

Cancellations made 4 days or less in advance of the tournament will be charged a 10% administrative fee. Trophies will be awarded to the winners of each flight.

Starting Time:
Starting times will be available on Wednesday, July 21, 2021. Starting times will begin at 7:00 am on both days. Tournament rounds will be conducted at Naperbrook on Saturday and Springbrook on Sunday.

Pace of Play:
A strict and comprehensive Keep Pace policy will be in place. The policy is based on a maximum playing time per hole based on its par. The total time for each nine holes is two hours and 10 minutes with eight minutes allowed at the turn. Any group that is more than nine minutes behind the designated time frame will be approached by a Player’s Assistant. If the group can’t regain its position within two holes, they will not be allowed to continue play from that point forward.

By continuing to participate in tournaments offered by the Naperville Park District you can improve your chances at becoming the Player of the Year. Player of the Year points are earned by tournament performance, tournament enrollment, and handicap system enrollment. Both Regular and Senior Player of the Year awards will be distributed
